Better Care Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Dr Azim Al Khemesy will be starting mixed billing from Monday the 12th of April 2021.


Patients who will be bulk-billed:

  • Are newborn up until leaving school, university or TAFE
  • Are over the age of 60
  • Require a diabetes review, asthma review, health assessment, injections, vaccinations, procedures, work cover, third party insurance or care plan.

Patients who do not fit within this criteria, will be required to pay the scheduled fees below.


The following table provides an indication of the fees for face to face & telephone consultations.

It is the policy of the Practice that payment for consultation is made at the time of your appointment. We only accept payment via EFTPOS (debit and credit card – Visa and Mastercard but NOT American Express). Payments will be sent online directly to Medicare and you will receive your rebate directly into your nominated bank account.

Your Doctor will inform you and reception staff of the fee to be charged for your consultation. If the appointment is longer, where multiple health issues need to be addressed, an appropriate appointment length (Level C or D) should be made and the fee will be higher. Please discuss any payment issues with your doctor.


Home visits will now be privately charged to all patients from all doctors, please see the listed fees below.
